Welcome to Rotary Now! Kelowna.

We are part of the NEW world of Rotary, what are called "Chapter 1 Clubs".  Chapter 1 refers to the first chapter of the Rotary Manual of Procedures titled "Guiding Principles".  In those 5 short pages you will find Rotary's amazing motto:
Service Above Self!
You will also find the 4-way test, the Avenues of Service, Rotary's Mission Statement & Object, and the principles that we live by... Rotary's Core Values:
Leadership, Service, Fellowship, Diversity & Integrity
These words define Rotary Now! Kelowna.  Our meetings are just 2x per month, and nothing like "traditional" Rotary club meetings.  They are only 1 hour, there is no meal, there are no weekly costs, no bells, flags or banners, no happy bucks, no sheriff and generally no lengthy presentations!  We meet only to discuss where our next (hands-on) service opportunities will be, and what our next fellowship socials will be!

Rotary Now! Kelowna club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.  If you want to join in the fellowship & service, contact us at:

Help us make Christmas better for the Women's Shelter!!

We love presenting cheques to our favourite charitable organizations!
President Allisa Wu along with our own Jim Hawkins and Virginia & Tanya from Olivia's presented Ester Pike of the Kelowna Women's Shelter a cheque for $1082.05. The entire proceeds from our recent Virtual Oil and Vinegar Tasting! Thank you to everyone who participated and purchased a kit!
What was your favourite Oil and Vinegar combination?
Rotary Now! Kelowna partnered with Olivia's Oil & Vinegars to support the Kelowna Women's Shelter. 100% of the proceeds of this fundraiser went to the Women's Shelter.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this virtual tasting, we all had fun evenings! Fun, Friendship & Fundraising!
Rotary Now! Kelowna members joined with others from several other Rotary Clubs to pick apples for the Food Bank.  This project was organized by the Okanagan Fruit Tree Project (https://fruittreeproject.com) who are a registered charity that has been coordinating volunteers in the South & Central Okanagan since 2012 to harvest food for schools and community organizations.

Blood supplies in Canada range from an inventory of 5 days to 12 days, the average being ~1 week.  The need is always there, and the stories are so powerful!  You can see some of these stories at https://www.blood.ca/en.  Rotary Now! Kelowna is now a partner for life with Canadian Blood Services. We have an annual pledge of 25 units of blood. If you are able to donate, please register to join our team (Rotary Now PartnerID# ROTA0090474).  If you are unable to donate, please use your persuasive skills to get a friend to take your place, and they could join our partners for life.
Thanks for donating, from me, and from the thousands of random recipients!
